Next week will be the first of a very busy time. I was feeling desperate and got myself into various different projects, now I'm afraid I won't handle it all. I know productivity is good for my mood, but I'm so scared to fuck up.

So this is a personal 4 hours long practice and also a blood offer to the Gods of the Motivation and Inspiration. Because with so many projects in hand, this art block is the last thing I really need now. >_>

Yet again I try something different; those strongly colored clouds are curiously appealing to me. Also tried to work with depth by making one of the paws and the tail "fade away" into the background. Also drew a durgon.

Overall, I need to work more on my shading and anatomy. I need to be more solid and daring with my decisions, both for pose creation and for shading (for instance, not being afraid of very darker colors), and make a decision about my lineart as well. I like the new depth thing, I'll use it more often.

I'm not sure why I have this urge of getting better this year. I feel I'm much more critical of my own art, but in a more analytical way. Let's see if that actually leads me somewhere... >.>
